Non-race Events

Open Forums (September 9, 12pm - ???, September 13, 2pm - 5pm):
Open Forum #1 is where Bid Proposals for CMWC 2012 are heard. Other messenger issues will also be discussed. The IFBMA will provide an agenda that will be posted here as soon as it becomes available.
Open Forum #2 is where Bid Proposals for CMWC 2012 are voted on. This is also when all other voting on any of the issues discussed at the first Open Forum will be taken.

World Welcome Party (September 10, 1pm - 5pm):
The official start to the CMWC, the opening party will welcome and introduce competitors to Panajachel. Naturally, food, beer, and music will be provided.

Group Photo (September 10, 5pm - 6pm):
All participants are invited to be a part of this historic memento. All registered participants will receive a complimentary copy of the group photo.

Group Breakfast (September 11, 6am - 8am):
Before the real racing starts in earnest, registered participants are invited to join us for some Guatemalan style breakfast. It's the most important meal of the day!

Closing Ceremony (September 12, 7pm - ???):
In addition to handing out the final awards, the Closing Ceremony will feature a joyous send-off party. Food, drinks, DJ's, bands, and who knows what else will be provided.
